Job Title: Kitchen manager/head ch Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0HP
Salary: Dependant on experience
Reports to: House Manager
Responsible for: All kitchen operations and kitchen team
Duties:
Ÿ Ensure all Health Safety and Hygiene legislation procedures are implemented,
maintained and complied with.
Ÿ Organise and implement kitchen staff rotas, covering holidays and sickness.
Ÿ Assist with Recruitment and Training as required.
Ÿ Ensure all company standards and dish/menu specifications are adhered to.
Ÿ Ensure Company standards of uniform and grooming are adhered to by all staff.
Ÿ Encourage team work, lead and motivate the team.
Ÿ Address performance issues in line with company procedure.
Ÿ Ensure that all stock is maintained in an appropriate manner to facilitate rotation,
internal audits and complete food stock-takes on a weekly basis.
Ÿ Ensure that controls are maintained to maximise profits and efficiency and
minimise wastage.
Ÿ Liaise with other areas of the business and attend/run house team meetings.
Ÿ Ensure customers are satisfied and that any complaints are dealt with in a speedy
and professional manner.
Ÿ Organise stock and order books. Place orders to maintain sufficient stock as per
brand standards.
Ÿ Perform extra duties deemed necessary and reasonable.
Ÿ Ensure that all the kitchen equipment is maintained, clean and run efficiently
